Schools' Football Week

7th to 13th February 2022

ESFA is delighted to be formally announcing the return of Schools' Football Week, in association with Haier for 2022. The campaign is designed to highlight the huge scale of Schools' Football in England and also as an opportunity for associations, schools, teams and clubs from across the country to embrace Schools' Football and the wellbeing benefits it provides to pupils and players.

The focus for Schools’ Football Week 2021 was to provide an opportunity for children to get outside, have fun and enjoy being able to play sport with their school friends, after so much time spent in lockdown. ESFA is sticking to these principles for 2022, but with the schools’ football season in full swing for 21/22, ESFA has received a record number of girls’ team entries and SFW presents the perfect opportunity to focus in on highlighting and celebrating the continued growth of girls’ football.

This year, ESFA is delighted to announce a new partnership with Haier, the No1 Global Major appliance brand who will support the Schools’ Football Week campaign and help raise more awareness of this initiative than ever before.

ESFA have put together a comprehensive guide about Schools' Football Week which includes information on competitions, resources and opportunities from some of our partners that will help you to make the most of Schools' Football Week 2022, whatever your plans are. The guide to help you plan your activity for Feburary and be viewed here.

ESFA have put together a quick registration form for you to fill out, which will allow you to tell us what you have planned for Schools' Football Week 2022. ESFA recorded over 100,000 pupils in England taking part in activity for SFW 2021, so fill out our registration form and help us to beat that target for 2022.
