| Easter Tour of Kent by Durham CSFA |
The meeting of February 1934 received an invitation to tour Kent at Easter. Before accepting, some discussion took place. As six associations expressed a "willingness to stage return matches" it was decided that the invitiation be accpeted. When the Selection Committee met to pick the squad Wright (Sunderland), Fowler (Stockton) and Chisholm (Chester-le-Street) were selected to play in the England v Rest match at Rotherham. It was decided that the 3 boys join the party after the England match.

| Easter Tour of Kent by Durham CSFA |
Meeting of June 1935 reported that an invitation from Kent to tour at Easter 1936 had been received. During the discussion that took place "it was pointed out that Easter 1937 -- when Durham should be returning Kent's hospitality -- was in March and night matches would be out of the question". As a result Durham declined the invitation but hoped that "the tours should be renewed in the future". However, Kent renewed their invitation to tour the county at Easter 1936 but the 'return' being left until 1938. The meeting of September 1935 decided to accept the renewed offer.

| Season 1939-1940 |
The meeting of 6th September 1939 discussed the effects of the war situation. It was resolved that "All County Competitions and all Inter-league matches be left in abeyance until further notice but if the ban on Sports Meetings be lifted, the playing of Inter-school matches be left to the discretion of the Leagues concerned". A meeting was called on 7th February 1940 to discuss the position of Schools' Football in the County. The following was decided "That the present time is not opportune for competitive football as such in the County as a whole, but we suggest, that if League Committees so desire, they should use the longer days for the playing of mutually arranged Inter-league games for the primary benefit of War charities".
